Fire Safety and Evacuation Assistant Training
Training content
Theoretical part
In the theoretical part, we provide the key fundamentals for safe behaviour in the event of a fire. Topics include:
- responsibilities of fire safety and evacuation assistants
- objectives and legal principles of fire safety
- internal fire safety organisation
- behaviour in the event of a fire: alarm, evacuation and assembly point
- fire risks and specific operational hazards
- hot work and organisational protective measures
- basic principles of fire science
- fire classes, extinguishing agents and extinguishing methods
- overview of operational fire protection equipment
Practical part
The practical part focuses on the safe use of fire extinguishing equipment. Participants learn how to assess incipient fires and which measures are appropriate.
Topics covered in the practical part include:
- instruction in the use of portable fire extinguishing equipment
- selection of the appropriate extinguishing agent
- safe procedures for dealing with incipient fires
- practical extinguishing exercises using a fire simulation system
- optional: demonstration of specific fire hazards
- final assessment of learning success
Schedule and organisation
The training is delivered as a compact one-day course combining theory, practice and discussion.
Time: 09:00 to 15:00
Lunch break: 12:00 to 13:00
Number of participants: 6 to 10 people

Alternatively, the training can also be carried out on site at your company by arrangement.
