DEUTZ Safety Day 2025
The first international DEUTZ Safety Day 2025 was a great success! Together with colleagues from the USA, Spain, and Germany, we set an important impulse for a shared and actively lived safety culture.
At the heart of the event was a clear message: Safety only works as a team. Awareness, consideration, caution, and mutual support are key to achieving our common goal – Zero Incidents.
Under the motto “Safety Together: Every Team Member Counts, Every Action Matters,” it became clear that each and every one of us shares responsibility. Looking out for one another, asking for help when needed, and leading by example are essential parts of a strong safety culture.
A special highlight were the interactive stations in Cologne:
More than 200 employees actively participated in fire safety and first aid exercises. The focus was not only on theory, but especially on practical action and teamwork in emergency situations.
👉 A big thank you to everyone who took part!
We are already looking forward to the next Safety Day on April 28, 2026 – because safety is not a one-time event, but a shared responsibility every single day.

135 Years of Readiness - Celebrating Our Industrial Fire Brigade
Today, the industrial fire brigade of DEUTZ SICHERHEIT celebrates its 135th anniversary.
Since its founding in Cologne in 1889, it has grown into a versatile service provider, ensuring safety both at DEUTZ and throughout the Cologne area – 24/7. Last year alone, the brigade responded to more than 280 incidents.
The anniversary was celebrated at the fire station in Cologne-Porz together with guests from the fire brigade association, the police, and the regional authorities. A big thank you to everyone who has been part of this success story!
